Welcome to Rising Sun Beagle Club WebSiteOur club is located at 194 Gallaher rd. Elkton Md. and is part of the Fairhill NRMA. We maintain approximately 40 acres for the purpose of training beagles for scent trailing. Our club holds several fundraiser events throughout the year including on-site UKC licensed field trials events and Youth Outdoor Learning Days. In addition to on-site events we also hold a off-site Annual Rabbit Heavy Hunt. Our club also adheres to an ongoing habitat restoration project developed by the Department of Natural Resource Wildlife Biologist. Mission Statement
To promote and create an active interest in the development of Beagles. To better the breed of Beagles through training efforts related to scent trailing, show conformation, and basic obedience training. To improve of clubs training property through our Department of Natural Resource approved habitat restoration plan. by controlling invasive weeds and trees and planting vasive habitat. We also maintain the grounds in general by grass cutting and repairing fence surrounding our property. We do our part locally to promote the use of Beagles through holding licensed field trials and youth outdoor days. We promote the conservation of wildlife through hunting with hounds and the right to bear arms.
