Our Training Areas and Habitat Restoration Project.
Our club has two separate fence enclosed running areas, each about 20 acres. We also have a fenced in 4 acre puppy starting pen. We have work parties throughout the year to repair fence, cut grass, and improve habitat. We also have a habitat restoration plan developed by the Dnr. Wildlife division to better the habitat. This work includes mulch mowing, bush hogging, spraying, removal of invasive weeds, planting and developing habitat for rabbit cover. This ongoing project costs over 4,500 a year.
